Dr. Carlo DiClemente, Professor of clinical  psychology at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, is the founder of The Habits Research Lab, dedicated to understanding and examining health behaviors such as smoking, drug  addictions, alcoholism, exercise and eating behaviors, at UMBC.  He co-developed of the Transtheoretical Model of Behavior Change

Chris Herren, Former NBA legend and Boston Celtic, now recovering addict, will present "My Hoop Dream: How I Got Back in the Game", reflecting on his rise on the court, his fall off the court and the new victories he has found through sobriety. He founded The Herren Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance to families affected by addiction, as well as  the national anti-substance  abuse campaign, Project Purple, to encourage of all ages to stand up to substance  abuse.

Becky Vaughn, Becky has been working in the field of substance abuse for over 25 years and was a founding board member for The Georgia Association for the Prevention and Treatment of Substance Abuse. She served as the President and CEO of The Georgia Council on Substance Abuse, In 2008 she became CEO of the State Associations for Addiction Services, SAAS. Advocacy is her passion, bringing people to the table is her specialty. She earned her Bachelor  degree at the University of Georgia and her Masters  degree at Georgia State University,
